HOW WE STARTED

“I didn’t like my job. It was okay and really liked the people I worked with, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted to work from home. I wanted to run my own business. I wanted to set my own hours. I wanted to spend time with my children and make money being my own boss.

My husband and I had just started our own little side business doing hand-painted wood signs for custom orders. I knew there was a way to make this become my full-time. After several different ideas, we started thinking about paint parties!I’d been to some and thought they were a lot of fun, but I hadn’t heard of anyone doing parties with signs like we offered for custom orders. We did some research and couldn’t find anyone making hand-painted wood signs as we did. Anyone even close to what we were doing used vinyl stickers or stencils. We knew we had something unique, so we set about figuring out how it would all work. Over the next few years, through much trial and error, we have smoothed out the entire process. Now we’re ready to show you how to do the same.”

Hi! I’m Lauren and I’m originally from Nashville, TN. I grew up in Huntsville, AL. My husband, Tyler is originally from Charleston, SC and grew up in Alabama, about an hour north of Birmingham. We met at the University of North Alabama during our freshman year and have been together since. We have four boys, Sawyer, Lincoln, Noah, and Wilson. Wilson is named after my late father who passed away a few years ago. It was always his dream to see our boys and our business grow. We love spending our time on both.
