Don’t refer customers to your website

It’s no longer a question if your business needs a website. It does.⠀

But what most people have lost sight of is the fact that your website is a tool for your business and not your business. ⠀⠀

Think of your website as a business card. It’s used to refer business to you.

You are the most important part of your business. No matter how interactive or well-designed your website is, it could never do more than you. ⠀⠀

The next time someone asks if you have a website, don’t just give them the address. That should be your cue that this is a lead. ⠀

Open with a question and close with sale.
